    Founded in 2009, honoring the traditions of Napoli, the birthplace of pizza, our pizze are baked in a custom-made oven and cooked in extremely high heat for less than ninety seconds. The result is a malleable pizza that is soft on the inside and slightly charred on the outside.

    Voted the best pizza in Ottawa and beyond. ❤️

    Built in 1877 as a grocery store by Thomas Coffey, Sr., this building was the Grand Central Hotel from 1889 to 1907, and a Salvation Army hostel from 1908 to 1949.

WHAT MAKES AN AUTHENTIC
NAPOLETANA PIZZA?

A pizza with tomato sauce, fresh basil leaves, and a dollop of mozzarella cheese in the center, garnished with herbs.

  • The dough must be made with refined type 00 Italian wheat flour kneaded by hand

  • Topped with raw, pureed San Marzano tomatoes from Italy

  • Made from simple & fresh ingredients

  • We use mozzarella di Bufala cheese made from water buffalo milk, typically raised in the Campania & Lazio marshlands in Italy

  • Cooked in a wood-fired oven at 900ºF for 60 to 90 seconds

  • Real Napoletana pizza comes in only one size: 10-12″ diameter / personal size

  • It has a soft chewy crust with slight charring & leopard spots

  • Moist and soupy centre

  • Authentic Napoletana Pizza is very thin and soft
